Information on our After School Soccer Program

What It Is

Our weekly after school program is offered to selected schools. Each session starts shortly after school finishes on the school grounds and runs for an hour.

How We Run It

The aim of the sessions is to make them as fun as possible whilst also developing basic soccer skills. Each drill we run has a focus on either shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and/or developing teamwork skills.

Another key aspect of our training is keeping the children motivated and focused. We do this by introducing competition into many of the drills we run.

We try to cater to the general skill level of each age group, as we offer our program to Preps through to 6s.

The ultimate goal for every one of our sessions is to make sure each child is having fun. This is the most important element of our sessions.

What we ask from you

We ask that your child comes to the school ground straight after school and gets their name ticked off the roll call. If you selected ‘yes’ to the after school care collection option on the enrolment form, we will collect your child. Boots and shin pads are not compulsory but we do encourage you to bring them. We ask to bring a drink bottle too.

If you have any questions please send them to strikesoccerschool@gmail.com

Strike Policy

Cancelled session notice

Sessions may be called off due to weather or other extenuating circumstances. Strike will send parents/careers an email and post on Facebook if a session will be called off. We suggest that all parents check emails and Facebook if it is raining prior to a session. Strike tries to let parents know of any cancellations as soon as possible.

Cash vs online enrolments

If you enrol via our website, you are welcome to come and go as you please as we have your contact details. If you pay cash, we ask that you stay at the session the entire time.

Credits for missed sessions

Strike records the missed sessions throughout the term. Strike completes all credits at the end of each primary school term. At the end of the term, if a parent has paid for more sessions than we have provided, Strike will send a credit ‘discount code’ that can be used for future online enrolments.

Parents and carers who enrol in-person are not entitled to a refund for any missed sessions. This is because in-person enrolments are not tracked on our online enrolment system.

Human error

We try and record things to the best of our ability but sometimes we might make errors. If you see any errors, please email us at strikesoccerschool@gmail.com
